Position requires a bright, pleasant, hardworking and fun Activity Coordinator. Experience with organizing fun and interesting social events. General office skills, ability to write and publish newsletter, flyers, and letters. In addition, must be committed to providing world-class customer service. Duties Plan and coordinate resident activities Plan and oversee resident appreciation week Prepare and distribute newsletter Prepare and distribute flyers regarding activities Coordinate activities with marketing themes and events Work with resident committee or council Driving mini-bus for grocery shopping, day trips and other events outside of the building Leasing on occasion with possible weekends Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Comply with all laws including Fair Housing Other duties as assigned Skills Required: High school graduate or equivalent Ability to obtain Chauffeur’s license Skills Preferred: 1 year experience in multifamily property management or relevant industry Experience as an Activity Coordinator Physical and visual activities: Essential duties require the mental and physical ability sit and stand for extended periods, frequently turn, twist, bend, stoop, lift, and reach overhead, see and read fine print, hear, speak and communicate orally, converse by telephone and in person, and before large groups, and be clearly understood; have the dexterity to write and operate computer equipment and drive a motor vehicle, and have to stamina to work additional hours in order to meet critical deadlines. Ability to assist residents in and out of vehicles and be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly.
