The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of fluoroscopic procedures while maintaining the necessary precautions for excessive exposure to patients and/or staff. The Radiologic Technologist works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse. The Radiologic Technologist reports to the Clinical Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Minimum: 2 year certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited educational institution and maintain accreditation/license
Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT registration
Work Experience:
Minimum: One year clinical Radiologic Technician experience
Preferred: 2+ years Radiologic Technician experience in an ambulatory setting specific to pain management
