Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Associate, you will work with our diverse clientele who are recovering from a traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury. It is important to assist our clients in any aspect of their rehabilitation, therapy and care that they may require. Your interactions with our clients can be some of the most valuable components of their rehabilitation process. Therapeutic rehabilitation may include:

  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Psychological Counseling
  • Outpatient Services
  • Behavioral Analysis
  • Aqua Therapy

 

The Rehabilitation Associate is responsible for providing care, support, comfort and safety to clients on campus or clients in the apartment program. Additional duties include:

  • Assist clients with their daily living activities, such as meal preparation, feeding, bathing and toileting,
  • Attend to the client's immediate needs for safety and assist in a manner that fosters independent functioning and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe manner to transport clients in the community, such as appointments and outings.
  • Actively seek opportunities to model and teach positive behavior and responsibilities

Open positions are located in Ann Arbor MI, Manchester MI, Houghton MI, and Jacksonville FL. Positions available:

  • Full-Time
  • Part-Time
  • On-Call (4 Shifts per month)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
