Job Description:

 

Production Floor Personnel consists of assemblers and machine operators who perform all tasks necessary relating to the assembly of printed circuit boards.  Daily tasks will be assigned by the Team Leader or Production Manager.  Daily tasks will vary, based on the particular printed circuit board (“project”) being built. 


Staff must exercise ESD control by wearing an ESD foot strap prior to performing any work.  The tasks performed are those which require attention to detail and at times, an ability to perform repetitive tasks.  Staff can at times work on their own or within a team, depending upon the nature of the project being processed.  Staff must understand the importance of doing the work with 100 percent accuracy.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly perform repetitive tasks
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to differentiate colors
  • 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses or other vision accommodation)
  • Good manual dexterity, including the ability to work effectively with small parts
  • GED or high school diploma

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective and clear communication skills
  • Superb punctuality and attendance
  • Calibration and testing skills
  • 1+ year of previous soldering experience (IPC certification is a plus)
  • 1+ year of general electronics or electronics assembly experience

Job Type:  Contract-to-Hire, Full Time

 

Salary:  $11/hour with no experience

             $11.50/hour and up, based on experience
