Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Completely understand the project management process
  • Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
  • Understand project goals and deadlines
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of all cost involved
  • Develop project leads
  • Create the schedule for each project and match the talent to the job
  • Propose value added budget ideas
  • Follow up on proposals
  • Negotiate with owners and sub-contractors
  • Solicit and evaluate sub-contractor quotes

ADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong background is sales/marketing a plus
  • Experience with Specialty Contractors
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to details and a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong computer & typing skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must be well organized
  • Previous experience working with a “self-performing” contractor
  • Experience working in/with concrete a plus

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education – Bachelor Degree
  • Work Experience- 2+ years
  • Certifications/Degree- Construction Management or Business
