DIRECT HIRE Opportunity- 50k (plus commission)
Are you a relationship builder with an interest in helping healthcare institutions create exceptional environments for patients, caretakers, and guests?
Come join our downtown Detroit office as an Account Manager for our Healthcare Sales Team. In this role you will develop your relationships with key influencers and decision makers, then use your in-depth knowledge of their needs to become their trusted advisor in planning discussions, producing positive outcomes for local health systems and their patient populations. You will manage complex sales handling competing priorities, multiple internal and external stakeholders, and varying deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Develop and follow a written business plan that aligns with the company s overall mission, vision, values, and goals that is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-sensitive.
-Initiate and follow the sales process and create offers that turn our mission in to a unique competitive advantage.
-Manage new account activity i.e., manage your forecast, backlog, credit, and accounts receivable focusing on healthcare systems within eastern Michigan.
-Comprehend company processes i.e., Accounting, Delivery/Installation, Design, Marketing, Order, Project Management, Sales, Scheduling and Service and utilize this understanding effectively and consistently with all stakeholders internal and external .
Articulate all information needed by stakeholders in a timely manner and in the receivers preferred method of communication, which may include face-to-face meetings, email, texting, instant messaging, or telephone.
-Maximize the revenue and gross profit margin of all sales transactions.
-Build new customer and A D relationships by participating in departmental sales training, programs, initiatives strategic selling, competitively-held accounts, product launches, etc.
-Become the resident patient care expert as you work professionally with a sophisticated audience of hospital administrators, nurses, and doctors.
-Ensure customer satisfaction by helping local healthcare systems create environments that elevate the patient experience.
General Work Functions
Create professional and personal relationships with stakeholders in the Healthcare industry.
-Maintain relationships in times of customer inactivity, which is critical for our continued, long-term success.
-Honor all commitments.
-Respond to stakeholder and management requests within 24 hours.
-Maintain a high proficiency of product knowledge and clinical design concepts.
Connect with the healthcare community through professional affiliations, trade shows, and community, charitable and civic events.
-Partner with team members, vendors, and management in the selling process.
-Complete company reports sales forecasts, expense reimbursements, business plans, and others as requested on time. Organize your work mail, calendar, contacts, tasks utilizing company information technology and software. Skills/Qualifications
-Experience and interest in the healthcare industry contract furniture or medical device sales preferred .
-A can-do attitude a MUST!
