Opportunity Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is excited about contributing to our rapidly growing company. The Learning and Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct learning and development programs for SafeSend customers and employees.  This includes onboarding of new customers and employees, refresher training for existing customers, and personal growth initiatives for SafeSend employees. 

Responsibilities

  •  Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, customers, and customer facing personnel
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills
  • Creates product specific training manuals, guides, and course materials
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
  • Develops reporting and analysis on an as needed basis
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development
  • During the busiest sales months, help with virtual sales demos/presentations
  • Assist with overflow customer support inquiries

 

Qualifications / Skills

  • 3+ years of training experience required, strong emphasis on external customer training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Implementation and deployment of a learning management system a plus
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, training, or related field preferred
