Sales Account Manager- Southeast Territory 

In this position, you will also…

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with appropriate level personnel.
  • Manage an assigned set of existing customer accounts, including developing and managing the business relationship with those accounts.
  • Create and execute account plans which include financial objectives for strategic accounts.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction goals.
  • Create consulting services opportunities and engage other Innovative resources to achieve the customers’ goals.
  • Provide data to Product Management regarding product requests for such strategic accounts.
  • Manage the client contract renewal process.
  • Provide regular feedback to Product Management concerning market trends and product and services ideas.
  • Establish and maintain a system of regular communication with clients to include phone calls and onsite visits.
  • Create call/visit reports to document findings and to communicate internally.
  • Ensure knowledge of each client’s solution and how the solution is used by the client.
  • Perform business process reviews on a regular basis with clients to ensure client is receiving value, offer suggestions for improvement and other Innovative products and services that will increase the value to the client.
  • Solicit other Innovative resources as required to address client issues and needs.
  • Monitor client customer support issues and act as a proxy as necessary to facilitate resolution.
  • Ensure clients are aware of Innovative events that would benefit the client.
  • Ensure clients are aware of new product and service offerings

Qualified Candidates must have…

  • Bachelor’s degree related to sales and or marketing is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with managing external client relationships
  • Software or Enterprise Software experience
  • Excellent verbal and oral communications skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills

Superstar Candidates will ALSO have…

  • Library software sales experience
  • Experience selling multiple solutions to customers

Other important information about this position 

  • This is a remote position and will require up to 50% travel.
  • This position will be responsible for sales into public libraries, academic institutions, and government agencies.
  • Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours work may be required.
