Meets company's expectations in regards to Safety,Quality,Productivity, GMP's,HR, and Housekeeping. Maintain building, production equipment, and other machinery including facility systems such as air compressors, hot water heaters, and HVAC equipment. Complete daily worklog, timesheets, and preventive maintenance paperwork. Have mechanical, electrical aptitude, along with troubleshooting skills. Must be able to fabricate and weld as required for systematic repairs. Must complete all assigned work with proper cleanup and communication to the shift supervisor, and document. Must have a Lift Truck license. Must make quick, prudent precise decisions, and have access ability to obtain information. Must keep their work station orderly at all times, and keep proper documentation in assigned areas. Must be able to perform basic facility repairs, such as plumbing, Heating and cooling, and painting. Must document all spare parts usage and notify the maintenance clerk of part shortages with full description of parts required. Must be available to work any shifts as department schedules differentiates due to production requirements. Must follow company handbook and guidelines in regards to attendance and procedures. Possess a thorough knowledge of food processing and manufacturing equipment.Enforce all Safety policies, hot work programs, LOTO, as well as enforcement of GMP procedures within department and facility. May have to assist in coordinating projects with company approved vendors and contractors. Ensure company rules and regulations are followed and enforced with any outside company visitors or workers in and around the facility. Attend monthly departmental meetings. Perform all other duties as assigned.
